Object: Application as a Master/Senior Deck Officer o/b a large Motor Yacht. Dear Madam or Sir, With an accumulated experience of approximately half a million NM at sea, blending rigorous cruising expertise from Merchant marine and premium Guest service and care from the highest standards of the Superyacht industry. I transitioned from Commercial shipping to yachting in 2004, with over five years of global navigation (including multiple Oceans and Suez Canal crossings). For each of my assignments at sea, I have proven leadership aboard prestigious vessels as either a Captain or a Senior Officer, including Staff Captain positions o/b the then world’s 3rd largest yacht (162 m LOA & 12,488 GT) and an explorer passenger ship (142 m LOA & 10,944 GT), ensuring onboard immediate effectiveness. Today, I am actively seeking the role of Master/Chief Officer on a prestigious Motor Yacht, eager to leverage expertise and excel in a stable position. In the meantime, I successfully executed relief or delivery roles across strategic locations, including the Persian Gulf, with a focus on Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as East Asian hubs in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Often navigating extensive routes encompassing the China Sea, Australian maritime regions and Singapore, showcasing adaptability and navigational expertise. I also completed a high-profile charter from the Maldives to Thailand, demonstrating exceptional route planning and client satisfaction. I spearheaded a comprehensive 10-month yacht refit, where I had to deal with various aspects of the ship’s repairs and gained experience in ship repair and refurbishment processes. During all these years, I continuously improved professional expertise to exceed expectations in a Captain/Senior Officer role within your fleet. I have expertise in high-precision navigation systems, surveying, dry docking and maintenance management systems. Comprehensive knowledge of the latest maritime regulations, ISM and ISPS systems, as well as being comfortable and aware of onboard cybersecurity issues.
