That's right, after your onboard work our company will contact the owner to get your reference. This type of feedback is called a YACHTBOOK reference.
The job references you attach will be posted on your CV CARD but they can only be viewed by those employers interested in your profile. The YACHTBOOK references, on the other hand, will only be posted on your profile if they are positive and are subject to the same visibility criterion. Only your positive references can be seen as shown in the key next to your CV CARD BLINK LEVEL.
Of course, you will always be informed of the outcome of the references provided by the shipowners.
You don't have to be, it can happen! When negative references are balanced by as many positive ones, there is no problem. Besides, negative references will remain within our company. Do your best to further improve in order to get more positive references.
There is probably something wrong. Consider again your job position as a seafarer and try to understand the reasons why it happens in order to go on a self-improvement path. If this trend does not change, YACHTBOOK will have to contact you to delete your profile.
